Most of these photos were taken between late 1973 and late 1975. Locations include Anderson Fair Block Party, KPRC Studios, Sand Mountain, Guaranteed Wholesome in Huntsville, Memorial Park, Rockefeller’s (1982 Sweetheart of Texas Reunion), Alliance Wagon Yard in Austin, and a couple from our Acoustic Pool Party on Westheimer in November of 2017 (Joe on fiddle in color and the more recent band photo.)
We included some event posters and articles from the Houston Post and Houston Chronicle. Their respective pop music critics, Bob Claypool and Dale Adamson (both passed now) were big fans and great friends.
